On Friday, while attempting to go to lunch at Oak Brook, I started bleeding. It was a significant amount, which of course completly freaked Dale and I out. After getting in touch with touch with my doctor, she told me I would be okay and asked me to come to her Hoffman Estates office Saturday morning. A LLLOOOONNNNGGGG night later, we woke up, who am I kidding, we didn't even sleep, and headed out there. The ultrasound tech brought us in back, and as quick as she inserted the u/s probe, she said, "we still have a baby and a heartbeat"!!! Tears came down my face from the sheer happiness. She said that I have a "Subchorionic Hematoma". This is a blood clot in my uterus. It is still dangerous, so, as advised by my Doctor, I have to "take it easy". Next appointment is tomorrow morning, and my next ultrasound will be next week. I'll put that picture up.
