Tomorrow is the first step

My nurse called yesterday after receiving my blood work back, and we are doing the egg retrival tomorrow morning. I had to take my "trigger" shot last night at exactly 7:30pm. Today is my first day of no shots in about 3-1/2 weeks, sigh. We are going to Reproductive Genetics Insitute, located in the city on N Halsted, at 6:00am. Wow, don't remember the last time I woke up that early. The retrival will be at 6:30. I believe it will be between 45mins-1hr. I'm expecting to be home around 9am. I will get daily updates on how the embryos are doing and they will let me know if I go in Monday, for a day 3 transfer, or Wednesday, for a day 5. I've finally made it here! Part of me never thought I would get to this part. Hopefully happier times are ahead!
