Here we are, 11 weeks 5 days!!! Woo-hoo! I had my last appointment with the specialist today, it was kind of sad. First was the ultrasound, which showed one healthy, very active, alien. Oops, did I say alien, YES, I did. My poor baby looks like an alien. I know everyone says all babies do, but take a gander at the picture and tell me that is not something you would find in District 9. *1st picture head is on the right, 2nd picture head is on the left. It's okay, I'll love him/her anyway. Then we saw my Doctor, insert sad face. She said everything is going great, I am cleared to fly in 2 weeks (San Diego here I come), I can walk to workout (who wants to work out?), and I can resume "normal" activity. So, I hugged my nurse, who was on the brink of tears, and left. My next appointment with the new doctor is August 17th, right before I leave for San Diego. I sent in my Gender Test, which they just received today, so I should have the results by next Tuesday. Also, I have decided that since I am so used to ultrasounds every other week, I will do a 3D/4D ultrasound during my 16th week. Gives me something to look forward to! So, that's all the exciting news here.
XOXO
